Improvements & Bug fixes 👍🐛

Improved handoff:

We updated the handoff trigger to allow for more flexible word matching, even with spelling errors and varied phrasing. For example, the trigger phrase “Speak to representative” will match variations like:

“I want to speak to a representative”
“I want to spk to reprsenttive”
“Please forward me to a representative, I’d like to speak to one”

The chatbot now also better understands context and will only initiate a handoff if the request is relevant, avoiding irrelevant phrases.

Other improvements:

Mass crawl button
: We added a mass crawl button for selected URLs in the table, allowing for easier and faster initiation of multiple crawls at once.
Increased character limit in domain knowledge
: The character limit for entries in domain knowledge has been increased to 4.000 characters.

Web Crawler bug fixes:

After the successful release of the Web Crawler we found some bugs which we were able to fix.

Emails after crawl completion
: Improved the email notifications sent after crawl completion to prevent excessive emails and to ensure that the total URL count is displayed correctly.
Render JavaScript 500 error
: Resolved an issue where clicking the 'Render JavaScript' option without adding any URLs in the Web Crawler resulted in a 500 error. This option now functions correctly regardless of URL presence.
URL limit on new crawler objects
: Fixed a bug where the URL limit was not displayed on newly created crawler objects. The URL limit is now correctly visible for all new crawlers.
