Why it’s useful
Not every AI model is best for every task. Some handle complex customer queries better while others are faster. Now you can pick the right model for your goals, whether that’s speed, advanced reasoning or multilingual support.

How it works
- Creating an AI Agent: When setting up a new AI Agent, customers can select their preferred AI model. By default, GPT-5 Mini is preselected for new Agents.
- Existing Agents: GPT-4.1 remains the default for Agents created before this update.
- Switching models: Admins can update the model at any time by clicking the three dots in the top-right corner of the AI Agent and selecting Profile. As soon as a new model is selected, the change is applied instantly and goes live on the channel.
- No extra setup required: Customers can start experimenting with different models right away.
